The SANNIESRUST Cinsaut 2024 is a fresh, vibrant, and incredibly drinkable red that draws on generations of the van der Merwe family's love and honour for the land. Winemaker Pieter van der Merwe channels lessons learned in South Africa's heartland into this elegant Stellenbosch-grown Cinsaut, creating a wine that is both interesting and effortlessly enjoyable.
Tasting Experience: Vibrant, Spicy & Supremely Drinkable

- Palate: These aromas lead to a delicious palate of red cherry, dried cranberry, and a hint of Turkish delight.
- Finish: The wine is framed by crunchy tannins that ensure a long, dry, and refreshing finish.
Our Philosophy & Craft: Crafted with a Gentle Hand This wine began with hand-harvested grapes from the Strydom vineyards just outside of Stellenbosch. In the cellar, a spontaneous natural fermentation took place using 25% whole bunch clusters to enhance the wine's spice and perfume. The final wine was then matured for 12 months in seasoned 3rd-fill French oak barrels before being bottled unfiltered and unfined to preserve its pure character.
The Ultimate All-Rounder Its light body and fresh profile make it incredibly versatile. Serve it slightly chilled on a warm day. It's a fantastic match for charcuterie boards, gourmet pizza, grilled chicken or pork, and even seared tuna—the perfect modern braai wine.
