only 550 bottles produced, this is a unique expression of its Voor Paardeberg origins, drawing on the van der Merwe family's generations of passion for the land. Sourced from a 21-year-old bush vine vineyard, it’s a wine of immense texture, freshness, and character.

Our Philosophy & Craft: A Tale of Two Techniques This wine's unique character comes from a complex, dual-winemaking process. The best 50% of the hand-harvested grapes were selected to ferment as whole bunches in a modern, egg-shaped fermenter, remaining on their skins and stems for four weeks to build extraordinary texture. The other 50% was gently basket-pressed and fermented as a clean juice to capture pure fruit freshness. The two components were then blended and matured for four months in seasoned French oak barrels before being filtered and bottled.
